Any inside info. on Staiger's feelings?

Just looking for some good news in any way......Anyone know if he is leaning toward staying with the team? He would really be key for us next year (hopefully)!

Also, I am a little skeptical of the expectations set on Lucca. The people that say he is a lights out shooter and would be our 2nd best player are also the same people that said Thompson looks like an animal and Peterson and Haluska will be solid contributors......

I debated whether to post this but I will go ahead. I hope Lucca doesn't mind.

Last night we were watching the game, and my wife mentioned that Lucca and his parents were sitting in the lobby outside her office for a long time yesterday. She works in the student success center. So, I took that to mean that he is probably staying or else why would he even be in that building. She didn't speak to him or his parents.

Again, I don't post hearsay or rumors, so you all can take this for what it's worth. To me, I think it's a good sign.

And whether or not my wife is a credible source, I don't know that either!! :biglaugh:

That is exactly why I am not getting really upset about the Lucca thing. Until I see him play, and decide that he is something special, I will treat that info as suspect.

I posted incorrect info earlier

Earlier in the week I posted that Lucca and his parents were in the student success center sitting in the lobby outside my wife's office. Well, now we were watching the replay of the game and it was his grandparents. Sorry for the bad info, but my wife says she thought at the time it must have been Lucca's mother, she looks pretty young.

I know its tough to just go by the summer leagues and what random people say on the message boards. But before we knew what was going on with Lucca, Greg did say that him and Brackins established them selves as the two most consistant newcomers.

He's really good but he's NOT our 2nd best player. He's our second best freshman behind Brackins. Wesley's the man when healthy and then there's Clark
