We're 69 at night and 71 during the day. All year.

My wife and I are on the same page. We spend enough time outdoors that we refuse to be uncomfortable in the house.

Does anyone have a whole house fan? Ours hasn't worked since we moved in and I've been thinking about replacing it.

(really? 3 hours and nobody hit that one left hanging over the plate?)

75 during the summer, 65 during the winter. On days that are really in the extremes I just go down to the basement level as it will be 10+ degrees better than the upstairs.

We're in a variable price KW plan and try to maximize off that with staying comfortable:
12AM-6 AM .04/KW crank it down to 68
6AM-4PM .11/KW 73
4PM-8PM .27/KW 80 (basically it does not ever turn on here)
8PM-12AM .11/KW 73

On most days it runs a little during the day and mostly overnight (we're in the KC metro). But for a rather large old house we never run an electric bill above $130 and stay comfortable.

57 at night in the winter?? You must not have a wife who has to sit on the toilet seat in the middle of the night. :)
That wasn't me but we have in floor heating in the bathroom that keeps the floor tile nice and comfortably warm. We keep the bathroom door closed on winter nights when it is on so it is cool in the house for good sleeping but warmer in the bathroom for those calls of nature in the wee hours.
