In PA, no. I'm saying that it's natural and necessary to ask about someone's business involvement with a pedophile. Given Cael's distance, it's almost certainly a nothingburger, but it's something you check out.
Most people won't care...but it only takes one reporter to bring it up and question Cael publicly and then...it might be a headache but as it appears, nothing more than a headache for Cael.

Back in the 90s there was a high school coach in Ogden that got caught after many years video taping in the locker room showers. He apparently had hundreds of tapes and had a secret place in the house. It took some dedicated workers a long time to watch the videos to identify victims. It would have been a massive story if social media were a thing.

For what reason? Was he aware of this and kept his partnership going?
I doubt he knew anything about the illegal activities.
Its just surprising to me that Cael would associate with a person like Carl Markley. At a minimum, they are business partners, or quite possibly they were also friends. I think those of us that know Carl Markley at some level have to be just a little bit surprised that Cael would ever consider associating himself with someone like that.
Money talks. I’m sure his partnership was just collecting checks every quarter for his share of investment. There’s plenty of skeezy people in the business world where people still partner for the $$.
I assumed (incorrectly) that you were referring to the non-statement in the news story. Markley certainly has an eclectic group of investors, but I’m not ready to throw any of them under the bus just for association. Yet.
