For future reference, there are only three reasons that the east coast media will ever mention bad weather in the Midwest:

1. Really severe (e.g. severe flooding '93, '08)
2. If the same weather system is coming to the east coast
3. If it screws up O'Hare and thus screws up east coast travel

I'm going to boil some water, throw it in the air outside, and see if it turns to ice before it hits the ground.

-28! Wowsa... Why do these websites report the current is -28 but then show -14 in the hourly for the next 3 hours??? Heat wave coming to raise the temp 14 degrees... Watch out!!!:biglaugh:

My buddy bought a 2008 used car from texas and his windshield reservoir froze up and wrecked his pump. The guy in Texas was using water in his reservoir. $150 Lessom learned by my buddy. He quickly changed his oil.
