Am I the only person that is putting ZERO stock in to this season?

Honestly it was probably the most stress free season ever for me, because it was house money.

Not for me. The last 8 minutes of the Texas game was probably the most nerve wracking I’ve had in 20 years as an ISU fan given what was on the line.

(But, in general, I get what you are saying. Just having a season has been a win.)

I was invested in how the team looked and enjoyed things like what Hall was doing but pretty apathetic for results due to just so much more going on in the world until about what you're talking about. Repeating but I drank 3 beers in the last 5 minutes of that UT game. Just like old times.

Was way less stressed last yesterday after the UT/TCU results.

I just haven’t been able to get in to it. Half of the teams aren’t playing a season, half of the conferences games cancelled this week, empty stadiums with no atmosphere. I don’t know what this season is, but it’s not College Football. I’ll be watching off the DVR all season.

The news media is going to pretend like everything is normal and try to push this season on me like nothing is out of the ordinary. The threads I see on this site so far are just the run of the mill post-loss meltdowns as if this was the first week of September against the team we were supposed to be playing. There’s like 3 weeks until the next game.

It’s just not the same and I don’t want to pretend like it is.
