Testifying
Adrian would have been a PERFECT service academy QB. PERFECT.

There was a mention of Klein. Adrian is smaller and from what I remember about Collin, he'd take the snap and was methodical/would survey the line movement before taking off. He wasn't just "running."

Heh...in many ways, the QB situation is identical between Nebby and Iowa. Simply no one of the right caliber to manage a top team. Iowa has an actual defense, unlike the men of corn.

Martinez definitely will fit the KState offense...but the dude will get hurt, just like Thompson.
He must be pretty durable to survive at Nebraska with a very weak o-line and no running game. They'll have to be judicious how they use him but at least at K-State he won't be expected to be the entire offense.

The guy would fall forward for 3.333333 yards every single time. Collin Klein was maddening

Who did Kstate hire for OC?
Collin Klein is being given the reigns for now through the bowl game. If he does well with leadership, planning, implementation, he'll be the offensive coordinator.

Then, he'll be the next head coach. He's a beloved figure with deep ties to K-State.

Some fans want Klieman to bring in the next shiny object at OC. Not happening. I'll be surprised if Klien doesn't get the job full-time. He has all the intangibles.

And further to that, Joe Bob Clements, a former K-State defensive end and coach, will be in the same position as Klein but at oSu for their defensive coordinator position. Snyder's tree continues to bear fruit. oSu lost their coordinator to Ohio State.

It could work, but until he proves he can throw accurate passes, teams will put 8-9 in the box to stop the run.

Manhattan is actually on the EASTERN side of the state & straight south of Lincoln - but I get the drift of what you are saying.
Anybody who has driven through Kansas to get to Colorado knows that Western Kansas starts at Manhattan.

Manhattan is in the upper left corner of the black box within the Kansas Flint Hills. It does flatten out as one drives west. But Manhattan and its surroundings are anything but flat like, say, Ames. ;)

When the wind was blowing 80+ from the SW recently, we in Iowa were blessed with Flint Hills aromatic smoke.

Ahhhh Kansas. The land with all the natural beauty you would expect to find in a post-apocalyptic film.
