They say he is a smart boy, so sticking around might make some sense. I never thought he'd go too far in the NBA, but it's worth a shot if the opportunity presents itself. Heck who would have though Jeff Hornecek would have made it at that level so long?

I really hope Adams brother does well in Ames and helps out the tarnished Haluska name.

He definitely will! CyclonesRule91 and I were saying already at last year's Capital City League that we wanted Sean because of his athleticism, tenacity and the height he gets on his jumpshot. Not to mention he can shoot just like his backstabbing brother.

Amen to that.. The kid just plain out-hustles anyone else on the floor and will be get plenty of playing time for our Clones. By the time Sean is done at ISU, people will be saying Adam who? and be serious.

I don't doubt that. Seeing him for the first time last night, that is very accurate. He was the hardest worker all night (or at least one of the top 3) and shot the ball very well.

Last I checked Greg likes guys that work hard and our team desperately needs scorers. That spells playing time for Sean.

I know if I was a coach, I would take a guy like Sean who, no matter how important the game or possession, gives 110% effort and hustle over some talented less then humble ego that expects preferential treatment.

Jeff was a winner, and that got him over.

I remember still the first time I ever acknowledged Jeff Hornacek, it was 1982, we played Texas, of all teams, Barry Stevens was a sophomore, and scored like 30 points. But I remember saying to my father, as a 12 year old, that guy, and he wasn't even starting then, is my new favorite player. Everything just went better when he was on the floor, and had the ball in his hands.

As people talk about Haluska's awkward looking shot, people on here may not know Jeff changed his shot, totally, before his third year in the league.

And as good as he was on the Jazz on those finals teams, he was better with KJ in Phoenix. They were one of the top 4 backcourts for 3 years in the late 80's early 90's. The Suns beat the Lakers in 89, and played the Blazers in the Western Conference finals. They lost in 6 games, but I will never forget KJ got hurt in the 6th game, and Jeff put that team on his shoulders, and almost won the game, he had 36 points, and was the CBS, back when they did NBA games, player of the game in a losing effort.

The 76ers would not have traded Barkley unless Jeff was in the trade, the Suns offered, KJ first, and were turned down.

Maybe Sean will be the one who goes pro.

It would be nice if this Sean went pro:

The other thing that Sean has going for him is that just like his brother he has one hot girlfriend. You can usually catch her at the Capital City League games and she usually is wearing the shortest skirt in the place.

Nice a Terry DeHere reference. Well if PJ Carlesimo gets a head coaching job there may still be hope.

Adam has the same problem that he had after his soph, and jr seasons, he can't go left, and he can't create a shot for either himself or his teammates. He is a terrific athlete, who has decent basketball skills.

He will be better off not being drafted, that way he can choose who he wants to try out for.

My brother is going to his bachelor party and what he says that Adam is doing is sticking around Iowa down here and has many job offers since I believe his degree is some form of engineering and he is getting married this summer. There will be no European ball for him according to my brother and said instead that there is a stronger chance that he will be playing like someone said D League ball here in Iowa and he has also expressed a strong interest in playing the Capital City League next year.

According to his UI profile, he was a pre-business major, not engineering

That's the UI webmaster for you!!

It doesn't look like his info has been changed since the '05-'06 season.

I would assume that a Academic All-American would be further along than pre-business by the end of his 5th year.
