ACC/Big 10 Challenge

Lots of really good games this year. I haven't been too impressed in the past b/c there were only ever a couple good matchups but this year is loaded w/them:

Wisconsin hit a last second shot to beat Va Tech last night
Tonight's line up; Ohio St vs Miami, Iowa vs Boston College, Clemson vs Illinois, DUKE vs PURDUE (this will be a real good game), Virginia vs Minnesota

Tomorrow's line up; Indiana vs Wake Forest, Penn St vs Georgia Tech, Michigan vs Maryland, UNC vs Michigan State (Another real good game to watch)

How is the Big 10 looking this year. MSU and Purdue are good. I assume Wisconsin and tOSU would be the next best? Then a cluster of middle teams, Minny, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana. Northwestern and Penn St at the bottom. Am I close?

That VT vs Wisc game last night was amazing. VT looks pretty good, if Allen can stay out of foul trouble that is.

The Big Ten wins 2 games total. Wisconsin already won. UNC should murder MSU. Purdue vs Duke is the best game and I think Purdue upsets them. Those are my predictions

Silly me, I'm just sitting down to watch Duke/Purdue, and it never crossed my mind that Duke Vitale would be doing the "analysis".

I was gonna give you crap for placing Iowa 7th, and then I saw who you placed under them - yeah, Penn St, Indiana, and Northwestern are all just that bad. I'd still debate you on Minnesota, though.

Hope you didn't wager anything on these predictions. Tied 3-3 going into tonight and Duke came away w/a 16 point win on the road against the #9 team in the country. I really thought this game would be closer than it was. It looked like the Purdue players were a little over excited about the match up at first b/c they came out firing up some horrible shots that weren't even close. BC beat the Smokeyes by 2. Brommer missed front end of a 1 and 1 with .4 seconds left. All in all it has been a good set of games so far and more to come tonight. I can't wait to see if Michigan St is what everybody says they are. I watched them play a game earlier this year against some nobody team and wasn't too impressed. They better hope they play well tonight or they might get slaughtered. UNC is very talented at all positions.
