5 discontinued foods/snacks/restaurants you’d bring back

The KFC thread got me thinking. And there are probably thread about this but not a specific top five question.

You can bring five and five only discontinued foods or snacks or restaurants back. What are your five.

Keebler to me really dropped the ball on a lot of great products.

* Keebler Pizzarias chips

* Keebler Wheatables (specifically the ranch flavor)

* Doolies (rival of Combos snacks in the 80s but 100x better. Combos bought them out then axed the product line)

* DaVinci’s in Ames. Still in Lincoln but needed in Ames again.

* Keebler Magic Middles

Dammit. I’d probably replace Magic Middles with the old Hy Vee take and bake Moose Brothers pizzas. So ******* good.

I've really only got three:

1. KFC Chicken Littles
2. BK Breakfast Buddies
3. The Arch Deluxe

The KFC at the Iowa State Fair was the only place you could get Chicken Littles after they were discontinued at the restaurants. I think 2004 was the final year at the Fair? Maybe 2005? So for almost 10 years, Christmas came early for me in August, and I always went straight for the KFC as soon as I got into the Fair. Being a teenager at the time, I could eat 20 in one sitting.

If you would have asked me a year ago, Salsa Verde Doritos would have been on my list, but they randomly made a comeback earlier in 2024 and I could not have been happier about a chip making a comeback.

If you would have asked me a year ago, Salsa Verde Doritos would have been on my list, but they randomly made a comeback earlier in 2024 and I could not have been happier about a chip making a comeback.

So glad they came back. More chips that I wish would return fully are Crunch Tators. Their mesquite bbq were the best

D.L. Jardines sauces and spice spices. Got hooked on them visiting Texas GF much long time gone and now they be gone to.

General Food International Coffees - were a collection of fun flavored instant coffees that we really good winter warmups. Also long time gone.

Chips Ahoy Thin Bites - Had these on a Delta flight a few years ago and looked for them later and they be gone! I really try and avoid stuff this junky but damn these were good!
