As a general note for people stat sheet watching. It’s best not to go too deep into completion percentage in preseason. All these wide receivers drop balls a lot. That’s why they’re in preseason trying to make a team. Brock played well, had dropped balls and the fumble was an encroachment penalty not called.

What boneheaded play did he have tonight? The fumble wasn't exactly his fault.

People still making excuses for Brock I see.

The center was blown up, but Brock had the ball secured in his hand and flat out just dropped it. We’ve all witnessed this kind of thing from him for years.

I do think he could make it as a 3rd string NFL QB though….. nothing to be ashamed of at all for sure!

I am rooting for him big time though.

Purdy back in again late-game. Driving down the field. Has a few completions on the run from designed rollouts. Also just killed a MN defender on a pump fake, but tried again on the second defender with much less luck.

With them not trading Jimmy G, I don't see it happening. That's a lot of QBs.

Ah, didn't know that (I lose track of NFL dealings real bad).

Perhaps gets on somewhere else? At least a practice squad.

I was assuming they were trading Jimmy G.

If not, he won’t be on SF IMO unless he’s WAY cheaper than Sudfeld…. and SF keeps 3 QB’s.

Hopefully another team will like what they see and make him their 3rd stringer.

I honestly thought that since Watson turned down the Falcons and Saints that Jimmy could have ended up there but not yet.

Yeah he'll probably be on the practice squad and once they move Jimmy, bring him up.

I always forget how much even the practice squad makes so looked it up...why didn't I just go to football practice and make $150,000 over 18 weeks' time out of college?

Someone will get desparate and trade for Jimmy. Perhaps he stays in division with the Seahawks?
