I'm back in DM for the day and was curious if anybody knows if 3Bag is open in tursday afternoon for Cubs games?

I've still yet to see a sports bar (that sponsors CF by the way) that has a worse flag for Iowa State than 3Bag.

It's like they bought the smallest, cheapest, ugliest flag in 1995 when the swirling bird logo came out, and for whatever reason they are sticking with their guns and are refusing to replace that "relict."

Tons of other teams flags that look current, big, and nice. Apparently it's too much to ask for them to spend $30 on a new I-State flag.

3Bag - Replace the ISU flag, please.

I didn't even know Wellman's opened a new bar in WDM. I'll have to check that out!

Not sure I went to their website last night and it isn't quite up and running yet. If not there is always West Cab and $2 Old Styles...may even be 1.50 can't remember.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but my old roomie in DSM told me that 3bag closed down for good Monday. Really too bad, I loved that place. Not sure where I will go to hustle drinks from people the next time I'm in DSM.

I read the same thing on another website. Too bad really. It wasn't my favorite place to go to but it had character.

I heard the same thing. It sucks. I don't live that far away and it was a fun place to go and watch college football, NCAA Tournament or UFC. I hope another sports bar moves in there and gets up and running by football season

I've been going to Overtime off 86th St. in Urbandale. They have a bunch of 50" inch flat screens and good food too.
