Meh. This bites, but I guess there's just no point in worrying or suffering about it because nothing about it is going to change short-term.
COVID has blown a hole in the university's budget, including athletics, and every spare cent we have has to go towards making Matt Campbell happy, either through money directly to him, to the staff, or to facilities, whatever he wants. Nothing else matters. Campbell and football have first dibs on everything, and the other programs are just going to have to deal with having only the leftovers.
With that in mind, Prohm is not going anywhere this year (which we kind of knew would probably suck) and has next year as a (last?) chance to prove it. So we might as well settle in and enjoy the year as best we can, hope for growth from the various underclassmen, anticipate Tyrese Hunter, and hope Prohm can bring in a few more ponies to run for him for next year to turn it around.
I know a rebuild in year six is kind of ridiculous, but what are you going to do at this point. We have lightning in a bottle with Matt Campbell, so even our headliner program of the past is going to have to take a backseat.
