Just like Tsalmpouris, right?

I kid, I kid. Or do I?
Ha, I thought of him too. I'm guessing a 7'1" or whatever the Greek was is an outlier and probably gets on the court in Europe regardless.

But generally speaking, the typical big in Europe is light years ahead of a kid in the US skill-wise. The structure of European youth basketball is terrific. The ratio of practice and skill work to playing meaningless AAU circuit type games is about the reverse of what it is in the US.

Am I crazy for being super high on Pleta? I feel like I am crazy but also think hes going to come in and make an unexpected splash next season.
Do you have a highlight tape of him that really sold you? Every video I've seen of him looks like conference game JT Rock but shorter

I realize that it's hard to stay on top of the rosters, but Macari Moore decommitted on March 14th. It's hard to get excited about these articles with the lack of detail given.
That and there are 1000 players in the portal so the rosters will be very different in a month... Still ISU's is pretty set and get the respect they deserve as a top 10ish team.

The hard part was keeping Tamin, Nate, Miian and Joshua now get that final SG and solidify a pre-season top 10 rank.

Useless to the end user. I won't fall for it.
The only positive, is by calling it "way too early" they literally admit its just some crap they're flinging at the wall. And enough people eat it up anyway its worth their time.

I suppose they don't have anything else to do until rosters solidify anyway, might as well type up something.

Since we’re looking way too far ahead, I’ve already booked hotels in St Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis next year for the NCAA tournament.

Is this the year KU "reloads"? I thought that was last year.

Kind of odd year. Only St. Louis and Oklahoma City for first round sites in the middle of the country.

I feel like that's pretty typical. 2 opening round sites in each "region"
East - Buffalo, Philidelphia
West - San Diego, Portland
South - Tampa, Greenville
Midwest - St. Louis, Oklahoma City

This year
East - Providence, Cleveland
West - Denver, Seattle
South - Lexington, Raleigh
Midwest - Milwaukee, Wichita

2024
East - Brooklyn, Pittsburgh
West - Spokane, Salt Lake City
South - Charlotte, Memphis
Midwest - Omaha, Indianopolis

Its just that Denver, Lexington, Cleveland are a bit more "midwest" then normal

Looking at how Big 12 teams are ranked in some of the way too early top 25s, it's clear Houston is not just the clear favorite in the league, but the entire country. And maybe it's a recency bias thing, because after the elite 8 collapse, a lot of people are sleeping on Tech.

ESPN:
1-Houston
13-Iowa State
15-Kansas
16- BYU
17-Arizona
22- Tech

Sport Illustrated
1-Houston
6-Kansas
7-BYU
14-Tech
19-Arizona
21-Baylor
23-Iowa State

Fox
1-Houston
6-Tech
10-Iowa State
12-Kansas
14-Arizona
21-BYU

USA Today
1-Houston
5-BYU
7-Tech
14-Iowa State
17-Kansas
23-Arizona
25-Baylor

On3
1-Houston
7-Iowa State
9-Kansas
17-BYU
22-Arizona
24-Tech

What metric is Sport Illustrated using to determine Kansas is the 6th best team next year with 3 guys on their roster?
