Seeds are out. Wrestling starts on the 16th.

Looks like Carr should have a bye and will likely face Caliendo in the semis. After that would likely have Jacques or Monday in the finals. Should be Carr next topic setting up a 2/3 with Messenbrink at Final X.

Coleman has a small but STACKED bracket. He’ll wrestle Keckeisen first round.

Ian Parker got the 3 seed and he’ll face Ridge Lovett in the first round. That will be a tough one.

Small brackets but man are there going to be some fun matches. Let's go DC go punch your ticket into final X
I think if DC makes it to final X, he makes some adjustments and wins against Mess. I watched the last match and he just made a few mistakes his defense wasn't as good as normal and Mess won the scrambles, that can all change easily.

Anyone know where the brackets or mat assignments can be found?

Beau Bartlett with a huge blunder against Bassett.

Was down 1-0 and he absolutely thought he was winning as he was very passive in the 2nd.

Was in good position in the first and they awarded Bassett with a step out point, Bartlett definitely thought he got it.

Bartlett is just the worst type of wrestler. If you're going to wrestle as boring as he does, you'll get bit. So odd to see a wrestler like that from the Penn State room as well.

In the meantime, PJ Duke beats national champ Antrell Taylor 9-6. Get's Ridge Lovett next, can he go 2-for-2 against Nebraska champs?

As a wrestling novice, freestyle is so stupid.

While I don’t like the call here, this occurred in the first minute of the match. Bartlett had 5 minutes and 24 seconds to do something. Instead, he decided to let a highschooler dictate the pace. All he needed was a push out to take the lead.

There is no blaming the rules here. This is only 100% on Bartlett.

Marcus blaze is the next iteration of Bartlett. Holds his stance really well but the most boring wrestler to watch 90% of the time. Going to wrestle a ton of 1 or 2 point matches. He will be at 141 next year

Thanks. Coleman competed pretty well with Keck. Was up 2-2 at the break, but couldn’t find a way to score in the second period and lost 5-2.
Any 174, 184, 197 should want to come wrestle with Coleman in the room here. I hope he stays competitive through 2028. He’s wrestling really well and makes a great training partner for the upper weights. He looked right on the level of one of top caliber.

Agree. He doesn’t have the huge name recognition, but he’s really good. I’m sure an important guy to have in the room for David’s training as well.

We’ve got 2 elite training partners for 157-197 covered. Not to mention the Cubans covering the other weights. High school and college kids should be lining up to come train here if they want to win
