New offer. They’ve been looking for a true OT in this class. We all know Clanton likes big ‘uns. Haven’t looked at his HUDL video yet.

Wow. The video of games 4-8 are impressive. also the OL around him is kinda booty cheeks. Looks like the perfect Big body type guy RC loves. Kid will probably see the field as a redshirt soph weighing 300-315 somewhere in there

Not 6’9” as the recruiting site claims, but easily seems athletic enough for RT.

This is the kind of kid you hand over to the S&C and nutrition teams, and see what comes out the other side.

I too thought he looked athletic for his size.

Committed!
Gosh, ya take a day off Twitter…

Kid is big, and moves well. FYI, Eagle is just outside of Boise.

Here we go!

Decommitted from OU, also offers from Nebby and Michigan State. List doubtless would have kept growing if he hadn’t committed to OU the summer before his junior year.

Will be interesting to see if these late offers on DL are because of expanded rosters or staff having insight on possible ISU portal entries.

Well, A. Kamron is James Neal’s brother, and B. They always save some scholarships for late emerging seniors.

Five uncommitted visited the very last weekend before Cyning Day last December. All five signed.

That would include Beau Goodwin, Alijah Carnell, Dominic Overby, David Coffey and Garret Rutledge—all of whom they are very, very happy with.

So…incentive to hold onto a few ‘ships at the end of the year.

I really like this class. Lots of highly talented in state kids, especially Jack Limbaugh and Zay Robinson, I think they are gems of the class.

We need to add some late cycle defensive guys b/c I feel we may have some early departures to the nfl, like Malik Verdon. Just my gut feeling.

Earlier this season, Blum said that all three deep guys would be gone to the NFL. And who would know better than the guy who has to budget NIL?

Of course, that’s subject to change.

I’d expect most early entry/Portal departures to translate directly to incoming Portal players. ‘25 is going to be a shiny season…again.

Iowa? I can remember years when Mac would basically have a pissing contest with Fry to see who could sign the most Iowa kids…and that drove both programs into the ground.

IMO, there’s not a single clunker in this class of Iowans, and there are some remarkable raw talents.

Manske
Reminds me of Brock and Rocco—only bigger.

Tompkins
Perhaps best offers by an OL signee ever. Could be a great C/G, might have the length for LT.

Stecker
Could be another Verdon. Hope we get his brother, too.

Hawthorne
Fast, and hits like a truck. A very large truck.

Limbaugh
Look at his video. This kid is just a football player, either side of the ball.

Robinson
Reminds me of the recruits a certain poison nut meat school annually signs, and turns into high draft choices.

I’ve never been an “instate recruits!” enthusiast, but these kids check all the boxes.

I’d be very surprised if Verdon or Cooper leave early. Freyler won’t play in the NFL and I’d be surprised if he even participates in pro day, his shoulder is holding on by a thread

Unrepairable? I've thought he'd make a pretty darn good NFL linebacker. But, then, I'm not a judge of such things.
