I don’t pay enough attention to other teams but is this a trophy team?

And when do tickets go on sale?
Teams with money are stocking up. Nebraska, ISU, Ok state, Iowa, Penn state, and Ohio state will be the top trophy hunters. Lehigh, Minnesota, Virginia tech, NC state, Cornell, and Michigan are wildcards.

To me it'll be about 6 teams not named penn state trying to fight for the other 3 trophies. The ones I named above with 1 more from the second tier emerging. I might be missing someone.

Wow. What a squad we will have, especially if Ortega is eligible. I must have missed it, why are they reviewing his eligibility again? I thought they deemed him ineligible last year

OK with Poulin and Zerban in the fold and as One year stop gaps enlighten me to how the CRTC will work in recruiting them or retaining them post graduation. How many athletes can our CRTC carry? 1 or 2 per weight? Would this be even more enticing for the Larkins to jump on board knowing these 2 pickups are exhausting their eligibility this year and then joining CRTC to have even better wrestling partners. Or does this hurt us in the short term with the Larkins?? Or are they a pipe dream and always have been?

No inside knowledge here but if im the Larkins looking at the room ISU is putting together and the rtc we have, i would be thinking that my long term success would be best at ISU just due to the talent in the room to train with

I wouldn't count on the Larkins being in Ames next season, but ASU not allocating any of their Revenue Sharing funding to wrestling might open the door more after next year. I think it is tough to get them away from the Larkin legacy at ASU (which we understand with David and him sticking it out in Ames).

With the additions.. going by FloWrestling's predictions last month.. Iowa State would have 5 AA's.. 4 Blood Round eliminations.. and only 165 not top 16.. I know it's speculation, but it's just fun to say that lol. 9 wrestlers being ranked top 12 maybe.
