I kind of hate that we're doing it.

The problem wasnt the 20 games, its that we didn't follow the big 10's lead and schedule a few games before break and make December more interesting.

Yeah, there were slots to have at least one in December (other than CU game that was Dec. 30). I'd rather have at least one somewhere available in early December when students still on campus, and could drop one of the early January in-conference slots when they aren't.

If we were scheduling an additional one significant non-con in place of the 2 lost Big 12 games, I'd like it better, but we'll be filling with cupcakes. I know we have Purdue game, but that's a de-facto replacement for absence of Big East-Big 12 Battle.

I still play a College Hoops 2k8 (It's my favorite game of all time) and they still have this court. Every time I see it on the game, I wish it would come back. This is awesome.
That game was awesome. Much superior to March Madness. I forgot all about it.

“Fan’s voices” versus “fans’ voices”:

The difference between a crazy person with multiple personalities, and…well, fans’ voices.

Guessing the error was with the plural of voice. This screams of some donor wanting to be nostalgic and offered a bag of money to make it happen.

They can't lose a media timeout is the problem. Right now they get 4 each half plus the first called TO of the 2nd half for a total of 9.

The proposal I saw floating around was:

1Q Under 7:00
1Q Under 3:30
Quarter Break
2Q Under 7:00
2Q Under 3:30
3Q Under 7:00
3Q Under 3:30
Quarter Break
4Q Under 6:00

Gets rid of the floating timeout and encourages coaches to save TOs for the last half of the 4th when there aren't going to be natural breaks. I don't think the coaches will go for it.

WBB went from 9 to 7, and made up for it by increasing the length of each. MBB could do the same.

The problem, however, is that ESPN's breaks for MBB are already 3:00-3:15 (up from 2:00-2:15 just 8 years ago), whereas WBB timeouts went from 2:00-2:15 to 2:30-2:45.
