I'm not buying it will be successful. Bouzakis hasn't been down that low in years. I'm buying that it's the plan and that he will try it. Bouzakis definitely is a little wild and is up for the challenge

have reservation about Bouzakis heading down to 125
i understand its either that or he has no spot since Davino will be their gut at 133
but he has never wrestled that weight in college hasn't been that low since his junior yr of HS (2020)

Has sophomore listed three years. Two of those seasons didn't have many matches. Maybe injured in both of those?

Good call. He technically had 4 seasons cut short/very possibly from injury.
2020 Freshman, wrestled at conference.
2021 was a free year, only wrestled 2 dates total.
2022 wrestled at the matmen open 12/29 then done for the year - medical rs year.
2023 wrestled at done by 1/06 - medical rs year.
2024 sophomore year, done by 1/27.
2025 - junior year got 7th.
Maybe he is hopeful he is getting a second medical waiver and going in the portal now but waiting to get approved? Maybe he already got approved for the second medical year. The only logical answer is he is getting a medical year for both 2022 and 2023. He never used his regular RS and 2021 was technically free. He didn't get much done in 21, 22, 23 or 24.
Yea I’ve also heard of college basketball players entering the portal in hopes of getting another year
Wrestling in the 2nd semester and getting a medical was never happening in the past but who knows nowadays . He's gotta be hoping for a medical for 2023
