While we’re waiting on the news about this so called Domino, Iowa got Brands back and landed a 4x AA at a need weight and we missed on both targets at a big hole weight for us. And in addition to Amine, OSU also got Hendrickson.

They will be good. That’s why there fans are so stupid. Idk why they complain as much as they do but they are Iowa fans. Bunch of drunk tavernhawks
They have high expectations, but they’re consistently the second best team in the country. OSU may have something to say about that moving forward.

20-21 free year
21-22 redshirt
22-23 freshman
23-24 sophomore
24-25 junior
25-26 senior
Plus another year or two for anyone with a medical redshirt and/or Olympic redshirt to use so it’s technically possible for a 2020 high school grad to wrestle through 28-29 if they redshirt and get a medical rs (taking them through 26-27), and qualify for/take an Olympic year in 27-28 to prepare and try for a 2028 Olympic team spot. Most will be done in spring 2026 though.
Brands coming back was no surprise. 149 being a need weight when they already brought in two transfers at 149 is pretty funny.

If we want to hit more targets, we need more money and/or creative ways to leverage guys to come here.
We have a great staff, a super-fun brand of wrestling, and have proven we can compete in the top 5.
Keep the good results coming and raise more money. That will bring more success on the recruiting trail in the current college wrestling climate.
