***2024 NCAA Wrestling - Session 2 (Thurs., 6:00)***

I think that we are favored at 285, underdogs at 125, 133 and 149. The rest IMHO seem to be toss-ups with the competition very closely seeded. But I like our chances at every weight. AE, CC and DC will bring their best, and both MJ and WF can bring it at any time. Our expectations can be set low, but it may be a glorious day, and this is when we will determine if we have a shot at a trophy.
Am I missing something for team points? Track says that we have 25.5, then when you go to team scores it shows 24.5.
The lost team point by MJ must be reflected in one and not the other. The arena had us at 24.5 after Yongers match.

Tomorrow morning is a tough session.
Outside of Chittum losing first rd today was very good.
I’m hoping for 3-2 in the semis (Ech, David, Yonger) and then hopefully two of Chittum/MJ/Feldkamp to make it through the morning session. If we can get 3 in semis and 4 in the blood round, that’d be an amazing session IMO
Assuming you're not talking about first place, what does it mean to "be on the podium"? A certain placement? If so, what?
This is going to be a big one for us. Will is actually 1-1 vs Heller. Lost 14-6 in the dual this year, beat him by first period fall last year at Clarion Open.
Heller is a guy who's a bit like Will honestly. He's going to go for big moves and put himself in danger at times. This has pin or be pinned potential.
In the Pitt dual this year, it was real close to being feet to back either way.
That match seemed like similar skill levels but Heller was a bit more explosive.
We will need Will to score backside points.
Kysen has the worst road. Hope he pulls it out. But looking at 7 making to tonight. Figure someone else gets picked off, happens to every team.
If anybody is thinking about coming down to Kansas city to watch today and likes to drink vodka, you will be disappointed to find out that I drank all of it last night. There is none left and the there is one more wrecked bird scooter now also
