We start the week off with 3 Friday Night Games. That temp stadium for Northwestern under the lights should be interesting to see.

I think this BYU/SMU game is kind of a sneaky important game for the conference, then obviously Colorad/Neb, ISU/Iowa, Ark/OKSt, Pitt/Cincy and KU/Illinois are huge this weekend. BYU is a two score underdog but I'm not really sure they should be.

This weekend is kind of where we establish where the new league is.

Week one there were so many games against hapless teams it was really hard to define a lot of teams but...
Dissappointment:
- Houston, getting drubbed at home by UNLV is a "worst in P4" type of game
- Tech, needing overtime to beat Abilene Christian, makes our game seem fantastic and people had them as a sleeper pick

Impressive results:
CU over NDSU, I watched the game and thought NDSU actually looked like a good team and Cu had improved
OKSt over FCS#1, winning in dominant fashion
TCU over Stanford, not a dominant win but road win over P4 team means something
ASU drubbing Wyoming, not sure how good Wyoming was but the blowout nature of it says maybe picking ASU near last wasn't accurate

Other results felt like just what was expected or the opponent was so poor nothing could be learned.

BYU may be worse at getting a hard yard on the ground inside than we are. Huge glaring weakness of their team.

I think the BYU game has minimal impact just because of the opponent. ISU, Colorado and OkST have opportunities to make an impact.

I think Kansas sort of does but they are heavily favored but getting that win is still very important even if it’s an expected win to preserve and advance the ranked status
