Hunter Deyo needs to be our center. May sound harsh but i don't trust Simmons to be center. I don't think he can handle the snaps, timing of it. He has had so many penalties in 3 years

I totally agree with you on that, I was hoping him being in charge of the football may cut down on his penalties, but it probably would lead to more

Late to the party on this one, but after watching Benjamin Brahmer film, is there a chance he plays WR? Has similar size to Hakeem Butler, hard to gauge what level his speed is on however

Are they moving Carson Rhoads to Offensive Tackle?

If they don't we have one offensive lineman committed right now? Not good
He is 6'7" and 245 pounds. Will be a great college TE, probably high on draft boards eventually if he is utilized correctly

Not exactly sure.

Plus, it is good to have a center more than one year. It's the most demanding line position so it takes time to get it down.

Yeah he does look very similar to a Todd Bylthe build. I say let him start out there. Our receivers outside of Hutch were brutal this season.

My understanding is that Benjamin Brahmer wants to play a "flex tight end position" similar to how we utilized Charlie Kolar. He (apparently) was told by the coaches that they were in agreement that that would be the best way to maximize his athletic talents (size, speed, and great hands).

That a good frame to have. If he has the hands & speed make a solid TE in the 260 range. If he like his beer and food can bulk up to 300lbs and play OT.

That’s the first thing I saw watching his HS football tapes. He has it all.

Picked up a kicker apparently.

Edit: maybe more of a kickoff specialist/ punter it would appear. Not sure.

Looks like we’re about to have a couple more offers go out to late developing, under the radar players. A HS safety from Pennsylvania and a JC DE from Michigan.
