Overall this is quite favorable imo. Avoiding Lubbock and Morgantown is nice.

The only switches I would make if I could hand pick the schedule:
1. Play KU twice to maintain a 102 year rivalry game.
2. Play UCF twice. They won't be very good.

Way up there
It's not as difficult now but I already miss the round robin. This just doesn't look like it will be as beneficial from a metric standpoint, especially with such a soft non con.

It’s still likely 11 Q1 conference games

Sounds like Iowa State should just go undefeated then to be safe.

I get it, but not having the round robin is really bad for the conference.

Well IF we stay at 12 after OuT leave. We'll have 7-2-2 vs the current 5-4-4. So that'd be better, but man there is nothing better than the double round robin.

Edit: I originally said it be 6-3-3 with 12 teams and 18 game schedule, but that'd mean you'd be playing 12 OTHER teams. So it must be 7-2-2?

Karma coming back for giving Iowa crap for beneficial conference schedules. We already have a weak non-con and now a favorable conf. schedule. We may definitely need to win 20 games or more.

I don’t think we will have a problem getting to 20 wins this year but Iowa got in last year with 19.. We will still play at least 10 Q1 games in the conference this year.

Lots of opportunity for resume building wins. We could finish with the same record as we did the last 2 years and comfortably get in. The amount of worry on this site for quad 1 and 2 games is over blown every year, there’s still plenty of them to build a solid resume this year and get a great seed. Schedule is fine IMO

I'd rather go to Austin and beat the Horns in front of the home crowd. Give them a lasting memory.
I'd certainly be ok with that.
Maybe ISU will get to beat them in front of a Hilton South crowd in the Big 12 Tourney.
