I was talking to someone about Jordan and why his game fell apart. He thought that Spieth was so focused on gaining extra yardage that it became detrimental to the rest of his game.

Is that the general consensus?

My general consensus is that his luck factor is off the charts and he can get really hot with the putter. Either of those things are off and you get a player that’s somewhere around #100 in the world. I’m just not sure what he does well except random lucky hole outs at this point.

The pros (and others) try to hit a 1 iron. Check out the most interesting man in the World Miguel Angel Jimenez at the 7:07 mark:

Homa misses this to win it. Now in Playoff with Tony Finau on CBS.

Felt like he really rushed that one and went with the old vice grip slammer. Should have took 1/2 an hour and steady his hands and rolled the putt. He was so jacked he almost popped the tap in out of the back.

That wasn’t even close to the worst thing he’s done today. He even missed that putt and then missed the 2fter coming back. Total train wreck.

Tanking is pretty rare in pro golf, he definitely lost interest.

Robert Gamez 14 over in 11 holes, 90+ well within range.
