Cameron Smith just shot a 60 and had a pretty good look at a 59.

Also, Sunday's Final Round already postponed till Monday:

It will be interesting if this thing drags on until Tuesday. One would think that some of those guys who missed the cut but are still in it might have a bit of an advantage this weekend (over the guys who played Tuesday, but are closer to the 70 mark).

Why?

Chance to get in more practice rounds at the course. More chance to get settled in at the new location. I'm sure almost all of these guys have played the next course many times, but getting more of a feel for how it will play this year has to help somewhat.

I can see that I guess. I don’t know if guys that missed the cut would be playing any practice rounds today on the next course, because they would all have this scheduled as a travel day anyway.

Lot of playoffs this season

Does anyone think there is any reasoning for this, or is it just coincidence?

Part of me thinks that nowadays when someone gets a 2 or 3 shot lead they kind of become less aggressive and try to just sit on that lead.... play conservatively. Which in reality is probably smart.

Tiger used to just keep the foot on the gas and blow the field away.... although even he played more conservatively with the lead as he got older IMO.
