I think Harlan rolls this year, hope the LB can talk the wr/safety/rb to come with him next year, being recruited by iowa and isu.

3A is all 4 undefeated teams left though....

That's crazy. Harlan has Humboldt who had to comeback late on Nevada at home earlier this year. Although in that game Humboldt had like 6 turnovers and a couple came when they were on verge of scoring so they should of beaten Nevada by more than they did.

All four of the remaining 3A teams are undefeated.

Harlan's offense wasn't all that impressive tonight, but their D is legit which they say wins championships. Don't know much about the other teams left in 3A, but would say they have a good shot.

I think that Humboldt -Harlan game has the potential to be a dandy. Humboldt was 21 all at half then shut down Independence the 2nd half.

Waikon graduated a ton off their championship team last year so I'm impressed they made it back to the dome. Their only loss is to 3A semifinalist WSR.

I have seen Ankeny play three times, and the DE Simonson jumped out. Looks like no recruiting profile, but the kid was the best player on the field even against SEP. Maybe he’s not a high ceiling guy, but man, he is a damn good HS player.

Is anybody else's MC22 Coverage of Dowling vs SE Polk keep freezing up?

Yes, especially during the 1st half. Missed some key plays because of freeze-ups, but funny no commercials froze up. It was hilarious that the Mediacom commercials during the game were touting their 99.9% Reliability. Congrats to South East Polk, take it all!

UNI had offered a partial last I heard. He's the kind of kid that's a really nice rotation player for Farley by year 3 assuming he attacks the weight room.

Ankeny destroyed CR Prairie. Betting it will be an Ankeny/SE Polk rematch for the title.

Once again the Central Iowa conference is by far the toughest conference in the state.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy being ranked #1 and then going down to Iowa City High probably clears the path for central Iowa to win its 12th straight title in the largest class. Ironically the last eastern Iowa team to win it was City High.

i know they had to expand into Wednesday for the extra class but kind of surprised its just two early afternoon games today

They only did the 8-player semifinals today (after that class had their quarterfinal games last Thursday instead of Friday). By expanding one class, the IHSAA just pushed 8-player off the days they have 11-player semifinals.

Tomorrow is A and 4A, Friday is 1A and 5A, Saturday is 2A and 3A.
