I've played for 35 freaking years without one, and he skips that in? I give up
I cycle between being terrible and average at golf and I have one hole in one, my retired father in law that plays 7 days a week still doesn't have one, I try not to rub it in too much.

Will they still have the Par 3 tourney ? Usually the day before and family members carry the bag.

PS: 20 years playing and no Ace for me.

I'm a low handicapper, 50+ rounds a year for 15 years, and played for 31 years total before I checked the box. A friend of mine who rarely breaks 90 has three.
That's how it goes sometimes. I have a friend that is pretty bad (like a 40+ handicap bad) and he got really close 2 times this summer. The only time I've been really close was on #9 at Homewood. Hopefully one of these days I'll get it.

I have a double eagle, but no hole in one. The double eagle was hitting from 225 yards out, going uphill, on a downslope lie with a 25 mph crosswind.

You'd think the 150 yard par 3s from the tee box on days with no wind would be cake compared to that, but.......

No, but it doesn't matter. I can go watch G.T. Nicholas hit his hole in one over and over. Nothing that contest can produce will ever eclipse that moment.

You could make that argument for any sport that is played on grass.
how many acres does a football/soccer field/baseball field take up? vs the hundreds for a golf course..... I mean how many fields of either could you fit just on the fairway of one hole in golf??
