A lot of defensive talent still on the board. Fun first round.

I follow none of the pre-draft stuff and very little of the draft itself, but this Tunsil stuff is mesmerizing. Strange, strange stuff.

I'm very happy with getting Treadwell. When it was clear we were going to have a shot at him, Doctson, or Jack (potential stud), I was excited.

I'm not sure if there are any other Packers fans in this thread, but I really wish they would have taken Reggie Ragland. He would have stepped in and been a starter day 1.

ESPN really milking this Tunsil "drama". They couldn't have been happier to have a story like this to talk about. He was the 13th pick! What a disaster! Good luck to teams who want to draft players who never smoke marijuana.

I'm curious of the legal ramifications if they can find who hacked his account and sue for damages. Ravens basically said the video was the final straw in picking Staley over him. Guessing there is a couple million difference from 6 to 13

You're assuming his feed was actually hacked. Either twitter is the least secure site in the history of the Internet or a lot of people lie about their feed getting hacked when they realize they shouldn't have posted something.

Not exactly sure.

Im a packers guy. The pack needed a guy with his hand down. With Raji gone and one player suspended for the first four. You were introduced to our starting nose guard last night. The packers used to have a philosophy that they took best available period. There is a chance that they felt he was the best on the board. They do elevate ucla guys for some reason.

I posted last night on this thread that I liked the pick, but I want the Pack to move up and still get Ragland.

Luckily, this can still happen today since Ragland wasn't picked yesterday. No reason for the Pack not to try to move up to early in the 2nd and try to still get Ragland.

If they can come away with a starting NG and a starting ILB out of this draft, that would be a big success IMO.

Glad the Vikings got Treadwell. Big physical receiver. Treadwell was the #1 receiver coming out of HS. He had a devastatiing injury a little over a year ago and came back from it last year to post a great season and got better as the season went on. I liked Doctson as well. Treadwell will not turn 21 until June. Doctson turns 24 in December. Doctson is 2 1/2 years older.

This is where I am at as well. I'm not sure the Pack will trade up though.

I agree with you. Thompson is known more for trading back and stockpiling big quantities of picks versus trading up and trying to get quality. Which normally I think is a good idea, but in this situation, if Ragland is still on the board I think they should do what they can to move up and grab him.

I won't hold my breath though. Who is the next best ILB after Ragland?

JMO but Arizona got the steal of the draft with the DE from Ole Miss (not going to attempt to spell his name).

Yeah he had some issues but he is to good to fall as far as he did.

Yep, I would have been happy with Doctson, but I was pulling for Treadwell. I think he's the best fit of all of the WRs in the draft for what the Vikings need. Coleman and Fuller are smaller, speed guys, and Minnesota already has Diggs and Wright in that role. They needed a big, wide catch radius, red zone threat, chain mover. And Treadwell does that as well or better than any of the other WR prospects out there.

Yeah, they were a good fit for him. Their D-line has some established guys on it in Campbell, Jones, and Rucker. And there are some good leaders there as well. Nkemdiche won't be in as much of the spotlight as he might have been on other teams. Remember when the Cardinals were the laughing stock of the league? Hasn't been that long ago. Their rise has been pretty amazing.
