If your team has the choice between Ingram and Simmons, who do you take? As a lakers fan, I hope to get a top 2 pick and am happy w/ either but prefer Ingram for that specific team.

Do you buy Hield as a top 5 pick?

Is Bender the next big euro bust?

I feel like simmons and Randle are similar players kind of.

I could see Ingram going to the lakers. Simmons will probably go the Philly and his career will go down hill. The Twovles should try to get Hield.

I'd take Simmons and hope he was only giving ~50% effort at LSU and just wanted to coast through his college year, because he looked bored most of the year.

Simmons. That kid will be a star. He has big time talent and potential. He will be a multi tie NBA all star. It's a no brainer.

I'm not as high on Simmons as everyone else is. He just had good size and athletecism (along with the offensive skill to score and pass) but his work ethic and effort are absolutely horrid. Combine that with being in LAL or Philly, I just don't see him fulfilling any sort of expectations.

Personally, I'd take Ingram anyways. He has a Wiggins-type body with deep range. 3 and D guys are all the rage in this league and you can never have too many (Klay, H Barnes, Wiggins, Kawhi, Shumpert, Wes Matthews, Igoudala, Danny Green, etc.).

Ingram is the safer pick of the two, but Simmons has a higher ceiling. It depends on how far away you think your team is from turning the corner and starting to contend. Ingram is going to pay dividends more quickly for a team with a good young core in place, but if Simmons puts in the work and develops a reliable jumper then he could become a franchise player. Tough call for whoever ends up with the #1 overall pick.

I think Simmons will be a big disappointment. Attitude issues don't just go away. I would take Ingrahm. He will be a good offensive player in the NBA.

Saw Simmons live at the SEC tourney and wasn't impressed. I want somebody who puts forth good effort, has a good attitude, and wants the ball. Can't say I've seen any of those from Simmons, regardless of his physical tools, so if I were them, I'd stay away.

I don't pay much attention to the NBA regular season, but if Buddy gets drafted by the Twolves, I'm gonna hop on the bandwagon. Although I don't know if you can call it that since they aren't very good yet

Same. The Twolves have a couple good young players already.

No way I'd draft Simmons #1. You want your best player to be the leader of your team and I haven't seen anything out of Simmons that indicates he is or wants to be a leader.
