I have class from 11 - 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Any recomendations on my excuss to why I will not attend a single second of class on the 31st? It would be interesting to see how dead campus will be come 1PM!

LOL, Im just hoping I dont run into any teachers who plan on having a "surprise" pop quizes on this day. My plan is to wake up early in the AM and start with a few Bloody Marys, followed by many a brew. Once 1 PM rolls around and the tailgate lots open, I shall be good and sauced!

aahhh...to be back at those days again....not a care in the world....except getting completely blistered and nibbling on unmentionable food and of the female persuasion in the student-section.....all without a shirt.

O trust me, this college student get no help from Mommy and Daddy, there are more then enough cares in the world for me right now with 2 jobs, full time class schedule, and many bills(tuition, rent, utilities, GAS!). But other then the care free thing, you have it summed up quite well!

that is true...how quick I have forgotten the student bills...working jobs around class schedules....it only gets better mate.

office in-fighting up the corporate ladder...
company romantic encounters which lead to un-holy disruption in a workday..
trying to post on Cy Fanatic while trying to get quarterly number-crunching into the home office...
many workdays spent day dreaming out the office window wishing I could be back at campus...

good luck to you this school year!

This subject reminded me about the tailgating on the 31st. Are we still planning a small CF tailgate somewhere? I can't seem to find the old thread, so can someone remind us if and where this is going down? Thanks.

otherwise I plan to just pull a chair up at some random tailgates and get to know the current generation of cyclone students. Man 1999 seems like a long time ago now.

And what time is the Big Event after game, monkeybrow?

You also did forget to check the Weather Planner.

And do not forget the Eleven Old, Fizzled Rockets to be erected on the sideline (represents Toledo team).

And may be of interest:

if amyk33 approves...I figured we can have the ceremony around noon...letting the festivities and sipping of good spirits to prevail....then when ISU scores one of the many TD's during the games.....the crowd will get a good visual of amyk33 being carried over the wall by me...as we make our intoxicated run for glory for the 50 yard line...most likely collapsing in a heap of wedding garments and 100 proof.

Noon is fine with me...I'll go ahead and take a full day off work. Monkey, I'm really hoping to get on the kiss cam. Anyone know the camera operators at the game??

I loaded my schedule this year with class from 8 to 8, with a three hour break for dinner on Tuesdays and Thursday, so that way I have only one class on Monday and Wednesday (AirWalke = art major). Ever since I found out that the Toledo game was on a Thursday, I had to make some minor adjustments to my schedule. ::ahem::
