Haven't been to 10, but my list includes:

1. The Who in 1979 (80?) at Hilton with Little Feat. Talk about ear damage.
2. Clapton at Hilton in 75? Player opened for him.
3. Bread. Yeah, I know Bread, but the reason it was so good is because Rare Earth was the opening act. Kind of an odd pairing. Get you all ramped up with Rare Earth, then calm your butt right down with * yawn * Bread.
4. Elton John Hilton 75. We got last minute tickets and thought we'd be in the nose bleed section, but it was right beside the stage in the section up from the floor. Partial blockage of view is why they were sold last, but only a small portion of the stage was not visible to me.
5. John Denver CY stephens '71. We were supposed to see B.J. Thomas and I was disappointed when this nobody stepped out on the stage. The only song he had out at the time was Leaving on a Jet Plane and he wasn't even the singer on that one. But he put on a good show (Thomas called in sick. Can you say drugs?) and I got my money back.
6. Beach Boys, Ides Of March, It's a Beautiful Day and somebody else. Sound system was awful. Beach Boys wanted to play their new stuff, we wanted to hear the old stuff, they called us names. Ides Of March never showed up.
7. Guess Who, 1995(?), reunion tour. Only a couple of the originals were in this group, (No Randy Bachman or Burton Cummings) but they were OK. I should actually rank them higher than Beach Boys, which is how bad the Beach Boys were.

My favorite was Flogging Molly at the Val Air Ball Room

I completely forgot about that one! I love FM!
The thing I hated about that concert was that it was at the Val Air. HORRIBLE acoustics in that place. I could only understand the songs I had actually heard before. Worse than most concerts I've been too along that line.

And I'll probably never go back to the VA unless they do something about the acoustics.

Mine are kind of all over the board as I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music. Also it is hard to rank these because my typical thoughts after seeing a concert is "That was the best show I have ever seen"

10. Incubus and Hoobastank- Cedar Rapids
9. New Found Glory- People's in DSM
8. Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Motion City Soundtrack- Val Air
7. Ben Folds- Val Air
6. Michael Buble- Civic Center DSM
5. Billy Joel- Wells Fargo DSM
4. Dave Matthews- x2 in Ames 2001 and 2004
3. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Wells Fargo- DSM
2. Flaming Lips- 80/35 downtown DSM. Really the whole festival was amazing, but the Lips show was unreal.
1. Dave Matthews Band- out doors in Bonner Springs, KS

Pretty sure two more coming up this year will be added to this list. In August in Council Bluffs Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Panic, All American Rejects. In September DMB at Principal Park.

I didn't show any love for local bands (Nadas, Envy Corps, Dirty Little Rabbits, Poison Control Center, Vandon Arms, etc.) I have been to some great concerts by these bands, but I just can't call them the best concerts I have ever seen.

CSN Ames, about 1978
Eagles, Hotel CA tour Ames 1976?
McCartney, United Center 2002
U2 in Ames, Zooropa. Wasn't excited ahead of time, but had great seats, great show!
Elvis Costello, DSM Civic Center 1983?
Concert for Montserrat, London Royal Albert Hall 1997 (McCartney, Sting, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet, Elton John, Mark Knofler, Carl Perkins, Phil Collins)
REM Halloween Night Palmer College Davenport 1985?
Elvis Costello KC KS Sept 1985? Got autographs of EC and the Attractions
Colin Blunstone & Rod Argent Chicago 2005? Long time huge Zombies fan was great to see them.
Crowded House reunion tour 2007 - again, they reformed and I got to see them-never thought the opportunity would arise after their fairwell concert from the Sydney Opera House in 1996.

Can't really thing of too many more. The Who in Ames circa 1978,Elton John in Ames Billy Joel in Ames and IC. Stones in Ames twice including getting Mick Jagger and Charlie Watt's autograph coming out of their hotel in DSM.

In somewhat order.

1.) Jimmy Buffet : Tweeter Center, Chi-town x2
2.) Foo Fighters, Weezer, in Saint Paul, MN
3.) Killers at Val Air
4.) Ben Folds: Val Air (great place for concerts)
5.) NSYNC: Hilton (my wife dragged me, but it was actually a good show with a lot of MILFs and their 13 year old daughters.)
6.)Aerosmith and Cheap Trick: Hilton
7.) Ben Harper and Jack Johnson: Hilton
8.) Prince: Hilton
9.) Tool: Hilton
10) Green Day: Wells Fargo

HM) Nickleback: WF. Didn't actually go to the concert, but worked a concession stand as a fund raiser for a friend. After we closed we had to exit from behind the stage. While backstage watched Nickleback's last couple of songs with a couple of guys from Trapt that opened.

The Ragweed show definitely kicked butt, but they usually do.

Besides the 12 times I've seen the Stones I would have to list these:
Huey Lewis and the News with Stevie Ray Vaughn opening, Tulsa 1984
George Thorogood, Brady Theatre, Tulsa 1985
Eric Clapton, Sandstone right after SRV died
The Stoney Larue, Randy Rogers and Ragweed show outdoors at the Beaumont in KC.
Georgia Satellites (less Dan Baird) in Las Vegas
Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Des Moines
The Firm, Kemper Arena 1986
Arc Angels, Cotillion Ballroom Wichita 1993
