    Pretty sure thats not accurate. He did visit a number of times, but I don't think we ever offered. Even if we did then that offer was pulled because we haven't been recruiting him for quite a while. Edir: My bad, we did offer him in May of 2023. But he has not been on the radar for a long time.

    I wondered if that's the case. The only thing about ISU in the meat of the article is that he had an offer from Iowa State, which is also obviously wrong, but maybe whoever writes the headline took that and embellished on it. Or hell, maybe it was AI. Still, pretty bad journalism overall.

    With Lipsey, Milan, and Jefferson back there is no reason we can't be really good, and of course TJ is an excellent coach. We just need to hit on at least one freshman, and hopefully 2 or 3 can contribute.

    I'm guessing their work has implications in biotech well beyond genetically recreating extinct species. They are probably developing new tools and procedures that they can either spin off into other businesses or sell to others in the biotech field.

    I think they'll really be able to tell after one of these dies and they can do some forensics on the remains and see how closely it actually matches native Dire Wolf remains. At the end of the day there probably isn't a lot of difference between Dire Wolves and other native species of wolves...
