Not exactly sure.
I feel like most college and professional level athletes have about a 6 month time line for ACLs anymore. I don't think that too surprising.
About 7-10 years ago they were saying 5 months with good PT. Then they found a high level or reinjury. Now they push a week or two of PT before surgery and work the quads as much as possible because those are the ones that stabilize it the most. They can/will do MRIs to show blood flow of the patella tendon/hamstring they used. ISU’s guy will generally use a cadaver one and then wrap it with the tendon/hamstring to beef it up.

For females, the most common injury afterwards is tearing the opposite leg since they have beefed up and worked up the muscles in the injured leg that it is stronger than the other and their quads generally aren’t as strong as males.

Also, something interesting is that all Nil deals (Like paying someone 300k) are going to need to be approved by a third party. This is to make sure that Programs can't offer too much money for someone so fair market value. This could level the playing field but it could be a lot of shenanigans.

I wouldn’t even redshirt Wells. Flynn was very underwhelming this past season.

Yeah 6 months is rushing it. I had mine done in 2010 with a patellar tendon harvested from the same knee. I was “cleared” at 6 months but I wasn’t anywhere near 100% despite doing PT like crazy. I felt better closer to 10 months.
