With our entire lineup available we are 20-1 I think? I voted yes especially at home

Same Hilton we lost to K-State in?![]()
Hahaha, byu does scare me more than KState. I can say that!Too soon, BYU won’t sneak up on them

Agree. Our rotations defensively have been poor all year compared to last. Fear that BYU will pick that apart and get wide open threes if we are not more selective with where/when/who we trap.
Oooh, I like this scenario MUCH better. We win out and KS does us a solid by knocking off Zona on senior night. We move up to #3 seed which gets us KU instead of BYU.When we had four games remaining (at OSU, AZ, BYU, KSU) as long as we went 2-2 with BYU one of those wins we are guaranteed a double bye. We got one last night and still holds true we have to beat BYU or it won't even matter if we beat KSU. Very very likely regardless if we are the 4 seed of 5 seed in KC we'd be playing BYU again (barring a loss on Wednesday in KC).

Trapping is in the arsenal of defensive schemes TJ has used and will use against BYU. However, they're not going to just come out a trap every possession. As this season has progressed, it's been used much more selectively. Yes, it can result in open looks, but also in TOs and runout. And it can get the opponent sped up.I think that trapping at all vs byu would be the absolute dumbest thing we could do. Not that TJ won’t be stubborn enough to try it. They have a ton of shooters and are really good at swinging the ball around and with skip passes. To me, trapping would be the easiest way to lose the game.
Meh, they looked really dangerous last year also and then the 6th place A-10 team took care of them pretty easily in the tournament.BYU looks legit good, think this is going to be a battle. Hilton should be rocking
The problem is we don't need the other team to turn us over......we turn the ball over just on our own meritOne good thing is they don’t cause many turnovers (#176 in NCAA) !
Are we pretty much locked into either the 4 or 5 seed against BYU in KC? It seems a rematch in a week is inevitable, it's just a matter of who gets to play a team like UCF or Arizona St first. This game obviously doesn't mean ISU still can't put together a March run but it does have 'can they be overall sharp two games in a row?' vibes imo.
I just have a gut feeling we are gonna lose to BYU but get revenge against K State
