We just aren’t that level. We will never be Duke or Kentucky, especially now with NIL. We’re going to be watching games like this at least once a yearFinal Four talk -- and I admit to suckering into it -- is just not reasonable with this program.

I guess I worded that wrong. Making excuses for a TJ led team instead of just being straight forward about what we are seeing.CW doesn't bad mouth ISU teams, period. Why should he?
I hope someone tells me that these guys are sick because the alternative is some of them aren’t good enough for power 5 level basketball.
The comment responded to said we need a serious upgrade for our big men. Those are expensive. It’s a fact.I live in the world where after every gutless loss someone whines that we don’t pay players enough to win against ******* Oklahoma St, Kansas St and
I think we finally wanted that San Diego State / Loyola Chicago final four historic run. And we can’t even get to that level. We just aren’t that level. We will never be Duke or Kentucky, especially now with NIL. We’re going to be watching games like this at least once a year
He had 16 but he was 4-14 from the floor…He had 16 in the 2nd half Saturday and was out with injury for a month.
i am not saying he will badmouth them. just might give some context on why this happened tonight.I love CW and this forum, but he will never bad mouth a TJ led team.
isufbcurt at it with the dumb button again. Thinks everything is just fine apparently.
Milan will never sniff the NBA. He’s slow footed, an average defender, an average athlete, a bad rebounder, lacks hustle and is way too inconsistent as a shooter. Everyone got on that NBA boat because he did a Dirk Nowitski shot in his first or second game. He’s got potential to be a great shooter, but that’s all he has.Yeah if he thinks he is an NBA player right now than good luck to him. Way too inconsistent.

To me it's more about the bad teams. Houston and the others at the top of the Big 12 are absolutely drilling the bottom teams frequently. We are playing close games and losing to them.Houston and us are not even on the same echelon. They beat to top 10 teams in the same week and will literally make through the big 12 with one loss.
The amount of times they got their pocket picked was ridiculous! Should only happen once, then it should have woken them up!Sick, injured, whatever, the weird turnovers are also really correctable but there they were again.
Those runs were as much luck as skill. Loyola played 8 seed K-State in the Elite 8 and SDSU played 8 seed FAU in the Final Four. Maybe the chips will fall our way as a 4/5 seed this year but I doubt itI think we finally wanted that San Diego State / Loyola Chicago final four historic run. And we can’t even get to that level.
Meaning if being a 4 seed in the NCAA tournament is a disaster, I don’t know what to tell you. What does this mean?
He was an attacking player on Saturday. He was not doing much of that tonight. He had 16 but he was 4-14 from the floor…
Nope never said any of those things. In fact I said it is hard to explain.Because you guys always think "the team is broken" and "there's something going one behind the scenes" conspiracy theories.
