Final Four talk -- and I admit to suckering into it -- is just not reasonable with this program.
We just aren’t that level. We will never be Duke or Kentucky, especially now with NIL. We’re going to be watching games like this at least once a year

I hope someone tells me that these guys are sick because the alternative is some of them aren’t good enough for power 5 level basketball.

They definitely aren't as athletic as most teams they play and are as good as the sum of the parts are playing.

I don't think the impatience with the ball is a talent issue though. You can be talented or not talented and still know to just hold up a bit and work for something to open up.

I live in the world where after every gutless loss someone whines that we don’t pay players enough to win against ******* Oklahoma St, Kansas St and
The comment responded to said we need a serious upgrade for our big men. Those are expensive. It’s a fact.

Milan was D league Milan tonight. He is the only NBA level player on this roster.

How he plays will determine their fate

Yeah if he thinks he is an NBA player right now than good luck to him. Way too inconsistent.
Milan will never sniff the NBA. He’s slow footed, an average defender, an average athlete, a bad rebounder, lacks hustle and is way too inconsistent as a shooter. Everyone got on that NBA boat because he did a Dirk Nowitski shot in his first or second game. He’s got potential to be a great shooter, but that’s all he has.

Who is the leader and motivator of this team?

Where is the version or Momcilovic that showed up against Houston? Seems like he only steps up for the high profile games!

Houston and us are not even on the same echelon. They beat to top 10 teams in the same week and will literally make through the big 12 with one loss.
To me it's more about the bad teams. Houston and the others at the top of the Big 12 are absolutely drilling the bottom teams frequently. We are playing close games and losing to them.

Otz really needs to learn how to coach offense. There is no flow, no spacing, no ball movement. Seems like there is no gameplan on offense. Turning the ball over 18 times against a crap team is just awful, especially with Mr. Turnover out of the lineup. This team doesn't have what it takes to make it far in the tourney.

I think we finally wanted that San Diego State / Loyola Chicago final four historic run. And we can’t even get to that level.
Those runs were as much luck as skill. Loyola played 8 seed K-State in the Elite 8 and SDSU played 8 seed FAU in the Final Four. Maybe the chips will fall our way as a 4/5 seed this year but I doubt it
