Hamiti has one year left, if I was him I'd be trying anything I can to manage the cut one more year if Keegan is going up. He had Mesenbrink beat and choked, Carr and O'Toole gone from 165. Olejnik as well who had his number. He'd probably be my pick for finalist opposite whoever is 165 for Penn State next year (Haines or Mesenbrink) and a chance at a title in a different environment.

He's not beating O'Toole at 174.
Read somewhere on Twitter that he wants to redshirt this next year and Bozo, I mean Bono, said no way

Who was the other HOK rumored to leave if the troubled side on the trailer park crew ventured up I 35?

How does the public find out who’s in the portal? I was thinking it was only open to coaches & administrators, and I’m sure most of them aren’t talking

Wrestlestat and Flo both publicize the transfer portal on their sites

Right, but they don't have direct access to it unless a coach/admin shared login information.

There are people who are dumb enough to hand out embargoed info in an effort to curry favor with certain media types.

He was a freshman in 2019 , would he have a covid year ? I think it was his soph year he was injured before the tourney
He’s had 5 seasons and never used a redshirt and 21 didn’t count so he’s used 4 years up. He might think he’s getting a medical year back since he never used his redshirt and only wrestled partial seasons in 21, 22, and 24.

Was his freshman year 18-19 or 19-20? Either way that's 5 or 6 years pending could very well be done.

Wouldn't have been able to tell from the broadcast all weekend....**** they were pumping KJ up like he was the 2nd coming...but for some reason I kept having flashbacks to a certain period of Iowa State wrestling that made me question it. Oh well must have just been in my head

KJ is an assistant at best. Not a head coach

Can Reader fit at ISU?
Jon Reader is a former Cyclone wrestler who won a national championship about 15 years ago. He’s now an assistant coach at Wisconsin under another former Cyclone, Steve Bono. I think the rumor is that Reader is looking to take a head coaching position somewhere else and if he leaves then Hamiti, a Wisconsin wrestler, will leave as well.
