White’s rebounding is what stands out. 23.9DR% vs 12.7% for Solo. I know he’s at a low major but rebounding usually translates between levels of b-ball.

This SI article is interesting.... not sure if the writer is speculating or has real insght into DJ Carton.

"Carton shared time with junior transfer C.J. Walker at point guard and therefore did not get the minutes needed to vault himself into the first round of the NBA Draft in just one year.

The frustration of that may have contributed to the mental health concerns he voiced upon stepping away from the team on Jan. 30.

Carton wound up third on the team in scoring at 10.4 points per-game despite being sixth in minutes played.

He is likely to land at a program closer to his home where he can step in and start at the point and run his new team's offense.

Iowa State, Nebraska and Drake lead the list of Carton's probable landing spots.

Iowa State's appeal would be diminished if sophomore Tyrese Haliburton chooses to return to school in the wake of a broken wrist suffered in early February. Haliburton, a 6-5 point guard, was projected a Top 10 NBA pick before that injury."

Interesting -- you would think TH going pro just opens up a lot of playing time. I don't know if Carton wants to be a full-time PG, but if he does, the spot is there, and Bolton is a good running mate to sell to him as a SG with him in the backcourt.

NU was always a choice because of Fred's history with transfers and his dealings with Royce. However.....Prohm assisting Lard will not go unnoticed, but just as if not more important is the fact we are closer to home and NOT in the Big Ten. Which puts us ahead of NU IMO. If TH doesn't leave.....so much the better. Drake would be a good spot also for him although if he wants the high level attention/minutes he needs to vault himself into the first round, I think that once again gives ISU the edge? We have a real shot here whether TH leaves or not.

Does anyone know what Carton's relationship with Xavier Foster is like? That could be a game-changer for us.

Lol he's not going to Drake

Drake would of kicked our asses. They've got their guy and are only going to get better.

But he's probably not going there.

I think a fresh start means getting out of the Big 10.
