As far as penalties go timing may have sucked up to this point, but ISU is actually doing very well avoiding penalties. They are tied for 11th in Div 1 with only 4.33 penalties a game and 13th in penalty yardage with only 38.67 yards per game. Odds are if they keep avoiding penalties this will be a strength rather than the weakness that plagued them in the first two games.All true. But they've also shown a penchant for shooting themselves in the foot with untimely penalties, turnovers, and miscellaneous gaffes. Gotta clean that stuff up to reach the nine or ten win mark. It's a very good team capable of a Big 12 championship but they're not going to win many just by showing up and trying to out-talent their opponent. They're not that good.
