Why are you suckers doing parlays anyway?

I haven't signed up yet, but if I do, parlays are probably what I was going to do. Why not?

I'd be a pretty small time player, but I'd like the opportunity to make some decent money on some smallish bets if possible, and wouldn't parlays be a good option for that? I don't want to place a $10 bet and only make $15 if I win for example.

Are we going to get a betting forum that people can opt out of?

Was in and out of PM today in 10 minutes to get the acct registered and funded. I would recommend having the app downloaded before you go.

I just got a new driver's license and apparently the new license doesnt have the barcodes on the back directly over one another. I couldn't do the scan so then had to do a paper app. They said I would get a email in 3 days to notify me of my account set up for my phone. But I'll have to go back into deposit money.

Then Go with a 10 team parlay. That's where the money's at....

There is a lot of math involved, but this guy explains it better than I can

Has anyone do the spend 50/get 50 promotion with William Hill? My buddy randomly got an e-mail from William Hill that he'd received a bonus and there was an additional $50 in his account. All he can seem to trace it to is the spend 50/get 50, but it seems you had to use a promo code when you set up your account to do that.

You see Parlays pay out better and you dont have to wager as much to win more. I hit a 4 team MLB last night.

I'm not sure the payoff difference between the parlay and just hitting 4 separate bets is enough to justify it being all-or-nothing.

Lets say you put $50 on each game. You have to hand over $200 to get those bets or you do a parlay and only have to bet $50. If someone does not want to bet large amounts at once it makes it easier

To us poor souls in Cedar Rapids - where is the best place to go set up an account?

Ideally, I would like just 1 trip to the casino to register/deposit. Then I'd use the app or go to some local store (CVS and Dollar General were mentioned in this thread) to add more money.

From what I'm reading, I wonder if Isle in Waterloo might be the best option at this time. I haven't heard much about Riverside or the Dubuque options.

I received my $50 yesterday. I did not have to enter a code anywhere. When I made my deposit at Meadows I asked about it. He said the first couple of weeks everyone from Iowa is automatically entered into this promotion.

This is for $50 in total cumulative bets, not $50 on one play.

Thanks! Since it's "free money" I'm kind of inclined to just do the $50 on one bet, but good to know it's cumulative.

I was in a CVS this weekend and I asked about depositing money there. It's not set up yet.

That's fine, but it completely ignores the fact it's all-or-nothing and your odds are significantly reduced. I think you'd be better in the long run to bet 4 games and hit on maybe 2-3 each time than to hit the occasional parlay.

But as all things gambling, Vegas has it all figured out, so I doubt one way is substantially better than the other. Just a matter of preference.

I put a total of $50 into like 11 futures bets and got my bonus two days later.
