It's odd how individual voters rank teams. We get so used to seeing the polls after the ballots are counted that we often forget that after the first few teams, ballots can be quite different.
There are probably voters that may have Iowa ranked in the top ten and some that may not have ISU or Iowa or lots of teams that end up in the poll on their ballots.

Well they lost to top 20 draft picks and don't have a QB so it's not that crazy to leave them out

That was really interesting. Some guys had ISU on their early ballots. Some never ranked ISU at all during 2018.
I can't decide if I should thank you for the needed laugh tonight or curse you for putting that image in my head.

Does anyone know when the official poll will be released? I've tried to find this online but haven't seen a release date. SIAP
Wilner had ISU the highest among voters last year in the final poll, and his admiration carried over to the preseason ballot AND he upped the ante.
