In the video of the team watching the selection show I noticed he had a protective boot on one foot. Also saw him limping off the postgame interview. Any word on this?

His toe is probably just sore after playing 3 games in 3 days. He needs the boot to rest it as much as possible.
Good thing we play Friday, gets an extra day of rest.
He worn the boot after the 1st round game in KC (Baylor) when he headed to the stands to watch the next game. That was the only game I was at in person, to witness but I assume that is normal post-game routine for him at this point.
You spend 3 days in a row kicking other teams in the ass and your foot would be sore as well.

I love the highlights from Zion's 13 for 13 comeback game in the ACC tourney because before the first few monster dunks one of the announcers makes a serious claim he can see a limp.
I was hoping for the same - another day of rest & preparation; even more we got the last game of the night.
The ball of the foot is ON the foot. If the ball is hurt, the foot is hurt. Dummy.
