I was in 8th grade spending the night with a group of friends when we first rented and saw that movie. We re-wound that scene just a few times.
I saw this movie for the first time ever just a week ago. I'm late to the party. Thankfully it was on IFC so it was unedited and uncut. I hate when cable channels shorten movies and take out the best parts for commercial time.

I found this just a little bit ironic as volleyball is probably one of the few Div 1 sports where the players pretty much universally don't wear underwear while competing. Swimming/diving and gymnastics being the others that immediately come to mind.

Yeah, that much I figured out. That is why he kept them in plastic bins separated.
