She likes typing.....CYZ or Zcying.....

Little man has taken an interest in my phone now too. I have to text at arm's length now if he's awake in my lap. Or for posting here. So blame weird typos on him.

Hope he sleeps well tonight, got more shots today. Then he was a trooper and went to work party for a bit. Came home and to bed but just woke about an hour ago screaming :( Gave him some Tylenol and cuddles and he's back out. But oh man, anytime his little legs got moved he just screamed. Almost enough to make me an anti-vaxxer.

welp, that about ends my posting spurt. Off to bed. Mom up tomorrow to make some Christmas food thing but really to see the baby. Though now it looks like we may go computer shopping too as hers has died and she needs a new one.

Either there are way too many of those bad ad redirects getting thru this site. Or I’m spending way too much time in this thread. Can hardly click on anything lately without getting some kind of congratulations message.
That or my screen completely resizes to huge on my phone and I have to scroll and minimize to find where I was typing.
I’ll try again tomorrow.

It must be the former.

Something with a D.C. theme?

BTW, watched Red Sparrow tonight. Seems we talked about it once and you said it was good/okay but depressing/dark or something. Yup. Better than I thought it was going to be based on some Rotten Tomatoes reviews and such. Just need to accept the miscasting of a full bodied J-Law as a ballerina. Nice twist I wasn't expecting at the end though.

The Washington monument, because it looks like a ****?

And yeah, Red Sparrow wasn’t the greatest in the world, but it was watchable. And dark enough that even naked Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t stop the depression from sinking in a bit.

Same here. Been happening the last two days. At least the redirect ads pop up in a new tab.

Got to Face Time with Talen last night (the youngest grandkid, he's 3 today!) and now the vixen is all sad missing her grandbabies. :(

But the good news is, Talen will soon have a new sister (around January 9), and so we are flying out to Washington to meet her and reconnect with the 4 daughters and their families.

Not exactly sure.
Nope, just from him buying rounds at Gannon's and The Village.

The three hanson kids are Mary, John V and Paul. Outside chance it was the son, he was the youngest of all three by a bit I believe. I was also thinking that Mary named a kid Paul. Which that would have been Bowman then.

I was thinking it was John K's son in law, but maybe it was his grandson. This would have been 1973-75.

Started doing Christmas cards again a few years ago. Mucking my way through them this evening. Cards that don't suck are getting harder and harder to find. Everyone sends those impersonal photocards. I assume my friends contract that out since they don't even have to sign them? Or has Facebook holiday proclamations killed even the photocards?

Anyway, using up leftover cards (cause they are cooler than anything I could find this year) from past years and hoping I don't send duplicates but then again who the hell would remember or know? Well, I'd know cause I have a @cowgirl836 like listing from the last five year. CG would not be impressed that it's noted in a Word file of addresses and not in a cool spreadsheet.

Don't have Pants address so no card for Riley this year.
We send the impersonal photocards. On top of that, we use a word doc for address labels that is pre-populated and our return address is printed on the envelopes when the cards are delivered to our house.

I do seal each envelope by personally licking every single one.

The Ponca tribe recently put a casino in Carter Lake. For some stupid reason Omaha sued claiming they don't allow casinos in Nebraska and being that Carter Lake is surrounded by Nebraska that should count.
Not really much of a case when the land is owned by Native Americans and in Iowa
There's no casinos in Nebraska?

I get royally PO'd when asked a question and then they only give a half second to respond, and once you start responding they talk over the top of you anyhow.

I pay the bill when its put on the credit card. That is the extent of what I do now, besides require that I'm not on it. Many times I have no idea what the card even looks like unless we are at someone's house who got one and they have it up, so I'm never sure if I'm on it or not. I never sent cards when I was single.

Wife has a friend who makes a legal sized paper bulletin (folds it in half to be like a card and a couple times had an extra page inside), who puts their kids' life story for the year in there. Used to also have an article about their dog. 99% of the people don't care about 99% of what the sender did, so just say happy holidays and move on is my opinion.
