To add to this, Cael Sanderson got whipped up his freshman year. A high school kid wrestling a college sophomore is a huge leap.
The NCAA allows 5 official visits to D1 and D2 schools combined. You are allowed an unlimited number of unofficial visits. You may only take ONE official visit per institution. Each official visit may be up to 48 hrs.
39-0 and a national championship
39-0 and a national championship
That was his redshirt freshman year. As a true freshman, he struggled at times.
What does EAD mean? TIA (Thanks in advance ;-)EAD. Time will tell
Sanderson lost 1 time to Jenn while unattached. He then beat Jenn by major, tech fall, and disqualification/tech. With all due respect, I don't think that is struggling.

The fact that he was rumored to be going to Iowa for a visit the weekend before and cancelled it (and he was supposedly a lock to PSU according to Flo - those guys don't know ****) and then visited ISU the next weekend with all of the other recruits has to be decent news. It's one thing if he's leaning or even silently committed to PSU and still goes to CRTC practices -- but i doubt if he was silently committed to PSU that he would take ANOTHER visit to ISU like he did last weekend. I do think it is between us and PSU - but I don't think he has obviously made up his mind yet.
I think he was just there for CRTC practice and not on an official visit at Iowa State.
