The Marlins would probably make the list for me. Not just for breaking the Cubs hearts in 2003. That's over.

I can't stand how they build a team, have success, and then fire-sale the whole thing and start over. If you talk about terrible fan treatment, there you have it (if they have fans).

Because the majority of members live in the midwest so Chicago is a bit closer to home...

That and the Yankee's probably paid people to vote for someone else... :skeptical:

Would you be mad if your team paid players like the Yankee's do?
(I wouldn't)

Same can be said for any small market team, look at the Twins as prime example.

I do not really hate any of the teams. What I hate more are the fans of the teams. ESPECIALLY fans that have NO ties to the team they root for.

I can't STAND the guys who are Red Sox fans who clown me for being a Twins fan, yet none of them have been to Boston, and none of them were Red Sox fans 10-15 years ago...

But the Twins were able to sustain some success, whereas the Marlins sink all the way to the bottom of the league. More dramatic ups and downs.
If you want to talk about bad fan treatment....its the cubs mgmt before the last several years... they did absolutely the bare minimum to keep decent talent on the field, cause they knew that the fans would show up and pay the money either way. At least the Marlins have won something (or two) recently.

I'd rather not have to see the holes in my own opinion, please:wink:

On the one hand, though, we don't have a lot of dramatic highs in those years. And that is really the best I can do to make my feelings seem consistent.:wideeyed:

The only way someone can hate the Cubs is b/c of their idiotic fans. Otherwise, its hard to hate a loser

I don't really hate any bball team.

I hate the Yankees and their annual pursuit to destroy baseball by purchasing championships and Steroids.

How Many admitted Steroid users do/did they have on the payroll?

Roger Clemens, A-Rod, Andy Petite, & Jason Giambi

Looks like a trend to me....anything and everything possible to win is the Yankees motto. Cheat, lie, steal, corrupt, manipulate, & destroy. The world would be a better place without them.

That's how a fan base grows and sustains it self. Older fans die off and new fans develop.

Define ties? I don't live in KC, so does that mean I cann't be a Royals or Chiefs fan?

Fan bases grow and evolve, old fans die off, while a new fan in his teens or early 20's develops an interest in a team mainly because of the TV coverage.

Why do you think there are so many Cubs and Braves fans across this country?
