The majority of owners, including myself, disagreed. BTW, he lost and had to pay the fines if he wanted to sell his house. The fines were under $200, but he was the typical Chad, who thought the rules didn't apply to him.
I'm not griping about this specific situation, but holy cow do I hate having to keep my toter in the garage during the summer. Having a baby makes it even worse with the diapers. Between that and meat packaging, it can get pretty raunchy pretty quickly.

I wish I would have thought ahead a little more and added in something on the side of the garage with a fence or big bush to hide the toters on the outside wall of the garage.

That's one thing they did allow. People were allowed to build something on the side of the house as long as it matched the rest of the house.

This is where I'm at. We keep ours in the third stall but it gets stinky in the summer. When we bought our first house 15+ years ago we had a 2 car garage and couldn't fit the bins in there so we had no choice but to leave them outside.

Garbage bins being out just isn't something I notice or care about. I really don't see why it's such an issue to Karens.

Not too late. These can be added on fairly easily. And that’s the point here. No one is forcing you to keep your garbage inside the garage. It just cannot be visible from the street. Just put a little effort in and create a hiding spot for the trash bins.

HOAs: Created by Karens, for Karens so Karens can be in charge of other Karens who like to rat on their neighbors.
Not all but there are some that fit into this category. My wife's best friend lives in a militant one in Simi Valley, CA. You have to get board approval to plant a tree or bush. They will tell you if they think it is time to paint your house. And then, you have to get your color pallet approved by the board. Typical CA micromanagement.

But then I guess without rules you end up with this guy for a neighbor.
