Started watching The Leftovers again on Max. That show is just a weird (in a good way) the second time as it was the first.

Just finished the final episode of What We Do in the Shadows, and so sorry to hear that it wasn't picked up. Easily the funniest series that hit both my and my wife's sense of humor perfectly.
It was really good, but it felt like it had run its course. If you can find it, Wellington Paranormal was another spin off of the movie set in New Zealand.

Recently watched "Every Little Thing" on Kino (but my droog Goog says it's also on Amazon Prime) about a woman in California who rehabilitates injured hummingbirds.

I just finished up Season 2 of "The Rig" on Amazon Prime over the weekend.

A well-executed, smaller scale (only 6 episodes per season) that's a good mix of sci-fi and apocalyptic dystopian drama mixed in with nefarious corporate conspiracy as well. A good series that goes quickly (due to only 6 episodes per season).

It also serves as a mini "Game of Thrones" reunion with the guy who played Jorah Mormont as the male lead and strong supporting turns by Mark Addy (King Robert) and Owen Teale (the dude who played Aliser Thorne). Needless to say the acting is top notch.

I'm sitting here watching Interceptor on Netflix. It's about terrorists taking over the U.S.'s two nuclear missile interceptor sites after they've stolen 16 Russian ICBM nukes so they can launch them at the U.S. with no fear of them being shot down.

I've gotta say, this Luke Bracey, who plays the main villain in this dog has got to be the worst actor I've ever seen. His delivery is wooden and he might as well be reading the ingredients off a can of dog food as reciting his lines. Seriously, he's one step above Tommy Wiseau.

Finally watched Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1. It's leaving Netflix's soon so thought I'd give it a try. It's okay. Not so good that I didn't stop and spread the three hours over two evenings but not so bad that I stopped after 90 minutes. I think a lot of people will watch this and think "I've seen this before", I did constantly as it shifted from one scene and storyline that I've seen before to another. Still, okay movie to kill some time if you like westerns. Acting is decent.

Recently found The Outsider (2019) on Max(?). It’s a miniseries based on a Stephen King novel. The first couple of episodes star and are directed by Jason Bateman.

We are in the middle of season two of Nine Perfect Strangers. Nicole Kidman is the central character and LSD is the main topic. It's pretty good.

For those who weren't aware, The Bear season 4 is now streaming on Hulu. Kind of arrived without a lot of advanced notice (for me anyway).
Watched the first couple episodes last night. Such a great show. The dialogue in that show is just fantastic. Add in good music too, and great acting…. just love it!

Murderbot is great comedic sci-fi. One of my favorite new shows. The Studio is great as well. Apple TV is killing it IMO. Watching Paradise with my wife. Its OK. Interesting concept.
