No Country for Old Men also. Wife has fallen asleep everytime I've attempted to have her watch with me. Can't understand how someone can't be intrigued enough to watch. I love it, her obviously not so much.
I’ll also add the Spider-Verse/Miles Morales movies. I think they are truly masterpieces but even I’ll admit there is a ton of quick cuts and everything and it can be extremely hard to follow sometimes.
My wife likes it but I’ve recommended the first one to a few people and they just can’t do it.

Mrs. Velo enjoyed it with me. However if probably helped that I was able to explain things to her throughout. I read the novel after watching the Richard Chamberlain mini-series version years ago when I was a kid.
On a side note reading Shogun led me to read King Rat also by Clavell. What a story, but not for the squeemish.

Talk about great movies. Stand By Me is pretty close to perfect. Not sure the old lady has ever seen it.
For all the Stephen King movies out there that didn't quite translate from page to screen, Stand By Me and Shawshank Redemption are two of my all time favorite movies.
Forest Gump and Snatch are two that my wife hates. She also doesn't care for Monty Python. In general, she struggles with British humor which hurts my soul
My wife hates Sci-fi/fantacy genres. I love the Star Wars and LOTR movies(watch them every year). She has never seen either.
I can’t believe how long it took for LotR and Star Wars to be mentioned. Maybe more women enjoy them than I thought.
Smokey and the Bandit, every time it’s on I switch to it. She immediately starts pitching a fit. I just tell her when I get her home I’m going to punch her momma right in the mouf.
