Every single one of those is a 9/10 to 10/10 movie. Wonderful picks. No Country for Old Men
Good Will Hunting
Inglorious Basterds
Kill Bill movies
.... and I have to include possibly my favorite movie ever... JoJo Rabbit.
Agree! For some reason any movie involving magic gets to me. The Prestige, The Illusionist. Both great. I can watch again and again. I even like Now You See Me, using magic to right a wrong. The Prestige.
We just ate at Lebowski's in Robbins the other night. The Big Lebowski. Every time I watch it I'm just amazed how good the writing is.
I love her voice so much. Even on something as simple as a throwaway cover of "Come Sail Away" by Styx in the episode of Community when Troy leaves the study group. I wish they had the full single of that somewhere. She could probably turn a fortune cookie fortune into a hit song.Aimee Mann's songs for Magnolia are, in my opinion, the greatest collection of original songs created for a movie ever. My second place is probably Simon & Garfunkel on the Graduate, that's how good I think her songs for Magnolia are. She was/is an incredible artist, the record labels had her bottled up and it was a massive burst of creativity released through that soundtrack opportunity.
I still need to watch that.Forgot one......
