If Iowa has there current lineup now. I will bet 10000 they will bump Angelo up to 197 to wrestle Elam. Watch
I disnt even think about that but you are 100% right haha. if they have arnold on the bench theyll put him in against dean and bump angelo but against a giant 197 i dont think angelo has tons of attacks

That’s odd. They already said they are load managing Elam. Why not learn from an AA and get a handful of matches and try to get the job after that. Must figure he’s not cut out for 197.
maybe because tate nakk may be moving up and doesnt think he could beat him or thinks he can be the starter for another program which I think he can

How many years does he have left? Could definitely see him wanting to try for somewhere he could reasonably expect to be the starter.

I think the Caliendo thought is not going to beat Messenbrink at 165, so if he wants a title, needs to go 157. Could just be speculation also

Bummer about Schon, I always liked his wild style.
He definitely wasn't going to be a world-beater, but he improved greatly by the end of the season

I assume we'll have Tate/Bartelt as backup options for 184/197 next season. Here's hoping both are healed up and ready to go by then
